The price of the world gold and silver markets fluctuates from day to day. Over the course of the year, these fluctuations can be significant, making it increasingly difficult to issue flat pricing for an extended period. As a result, Award Concepts utilizes Price Adjustment Factors (PAFs) on gold filled and karat gold items. The PAF is used to adjust the price of the item up (or down) based on the value of the Gold Market when the order is placed. This allows us to issue the fairest pricing to ensure our costs are covered while preventing us from having to overprice items to cover potential increases. This practice also allows customers to take advantage of price decreases when the Gold Market trends downward. As such, the prices listed in the online store for gold filled and karat gold items may fluctuate slightly from day to day. Please note that the price is fixed at the time of sale and Award Concepts is unable to refund the difference if the price of an item later decreases in price. Additionally, any refunds for returned merchandise (when applicable) will be processed based on the price paid at the time of purchase.
